The lifeboat launched on service at approximately 3.45pm to Polurrian Cove at Mullion to a report of a vulnerable person possibly in need of assistance. RNLB Rose was asked to approach the scene discreetly and stand by at a distance as the casualty was given care and support by the land based services already in attendance. This was accomplished. The lifeboat stood down and returned to Kilcobben for re-housing at 6.30pm. A successful outcome by all services involved.
