The lifeboat launched at 06.56 am this morning to go to the assistance of a crew member reported to be “unwell” on a vessel whose position was given as approximately 11 miles south of the lifeboat station. Coastguard helicopter 924 was also tasked and arrived on scene first, allowing the lifeboat to be stood down. RNLB Rose arrived back at Kilcobben Cove and had rehoused by 8.15am.
